I CAN'T SAVE MYSELF
Many people use this phrase this days,"I'm a work in progress". Sometimes we just say it to get out of a mistake without much argument or just to console ourselves when we feel as if we have fallen short of someone's or our own expectations. This is not a wrong phrase to use but the question is, on whose hands is your molding taking place? I have been told to work on myself over and over again. I have been asked to change the way I do this and that or try and be this or that and all that has ever done is pull me back or slow me down. The pressure makes you want to hide. The strength to be better is overwhelming especially you are not feeling up to the standards being laid down for you. We always want people to be better. We always want them to understand or just live up to our expectations.
