I watched her make her way between tables as she got closer to where I was seated. Her well held up braids and neatly aligned hairline was evidence that she had just been just to the salon. She gave me a warm smile and I stood to hug her once she got to our table. It was our routine to meet up for coffee and catch up on our lives every month and this was definitely one of those days we looked upto; to help us unwind. Many at times we would lose track of time and leave quite late but we thank God we had each other.

"Peace to all of you that are in Christ," Paul greeted those he wrote to. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Jesus told His disciples in John 14:27. In John 16:33a Jesus assured His disciples, "I have told you these things so that in Me you will have Peace"  So the question is... Where or who is the source of your peace? Jesus knows the world too can offer some kind of peace and that is why He was careful to mention that His kind of Peace is not as the world gives.
