PEACE IN LOVE

"Peace to all of you that are in Christ," Paul greeted those he wrote to.
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Jesus told His disciples in John 14:27.
In John 16:33a Jesus assured His disciples, "I have told you these things so that in Me you will have Peace"
 So the question is... Where or who is the source of your peace? Jesus knows the world too can offer some kind of peace and that is why He was careful to mention that His kind of Peace is not as the world gives. This is what the Lord says:
You know I've watched you carry all this weight upon your shoulders
As if no one understands what you go through
But with all the might in you
Believe what I say is true
When I say that I will never leave you nor forsake you
 So you you just reach out as far as you can
Should the whole world just stare in disbelief
Know that I'll take hold of your hand
What your heart feels is what you sing of
Know that the Peace, that comes from above
Is the same everlasting love


I have always wondered how does one get their heart to stop worrying, or how does one just live in tune with peace? Then I have to realize it is all about Faith, Hope and Love. See worry comes from a place of instability and God is the only constant identity ever has been, ever is and ever will be. He says He is the same yesterday, today and forever. This is where the world's peace differs. Nothing else is certain, only the Love that is unconditional and never failing.
So next time you feel as if you are losing your peace or worry and uncertainty are creeping in, remember that God loves you and He will not let you be tested beyond your ability to handle the test. He always has a way out for you. At times all you see is the promise of a better day someday but hold on to His everlasting love then your peace will be strengthened.

REMEMBER

Sometimes things go dark. So dark that life ceases to make sense... Sometimes things go wrong and just when we think they can't get any worse they actually do... Sometimes we get weak...or as we like to say, life happens. This song, I believe, is for those times when life happens. We've heard it said countless times that when it comes to talking to God, there's no sort of perfect way to it. What matters most is the state of our hearts.  A broken and contrite heart- these, He will not despise. A good number of people say music gets them through pretty much everything. The truth is that music is powerful. However there have been times in my life when nothing made sense. When I say nothing I mean even the songs that would normally be very helpful were simply just nicely arranged words with a melody.
