JUST AS I AM
But that Thy Blood was shed for me
And that Thou bidd'st me come to Thee
God in His boundless love for us sent His only Son, Jesus to die for us- to pay the ransom for our sins. Now we are free to run to The Father, confident that He will always embrace us. The blood that was shed on the cross is our redemption.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:16
So wherever you may be today, be assured that no matter how far you run, His arms are always wide open .You don't need to fix yourself first- come just as you are with a heart willing to be transformed and be enveloped by the love of our God.
Hymn written by Charlotte Elliott, 1841
