PRESS ON

So the other day i was evaluating my life and how my walk of salvation has been. Every new day offers a new lesson or reviews what I know about my Maker. I was reminded of Christ's word to
His disciples when He was preparing them for His departure,
John 16:33,
'I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have troubles, but take heart for I have overcome the world.'

So life spins at times and leaves you dizzy. Sometimes it presses you down and leaves you weak, but be assured of His peace that surpasses every human understanding and race up to the finish line where you are assured of Christ waiting to receive you.

We all care. Most of us like to say we do not really care what anyone thinks about us but truth is that deep down we really do. It's just that some of us have slowly been sucked into approval addiction while some have gradually realized that it really shouldn't matter that much so we try not to let others' opinions sway us. REMEMBER

Sometimes things go dark. So dark that life ceases to make sense... Sometimes things go wrong and just when we think they can't get any worse they actually do... Sometimes we get weak...or as we like to say, life happens. This song, I believe, is for those times when life happens. Because those are the times we are prone to forget the truth we very much proclaim to know. Those  are the times we question our faith in God, we question His love for us, we question the very Words we so clearly heard Him speak to us. We've heard it said countless times that when it comes to talking to God, there's no sort of perfect way to it. What matters most is the state of our hearts.  A broken and contrite heart- these, He will not despise. A good number of people say music gets them through pretty much everything. The truth is that music is powerful. However there have been times in my life when nothing made sense. When I say nothing I mean even the songs that would normally be very helpful were simply just nicely arranged words with a melody.
