"DEAR HEART OF MINE"



Have you ever had to speak to your heart? Well, I have.

 There are times when everything is upside down. And in my head I know all that God has said in His word about my situation and I know that I can trust Him but somehow my heart just isn’t there yet. So what happens is that I have to speak God’s word until my heart gets it. God’s word is living and powerful. This means that it has the ability to calm my heart when it has turned into a very busy, noisy, disorganized workshop.
Speaking to my heart is my way of encouraging or strengthening myself in the Lord as David did in 1st Samuel 30:6, he encouraged himself in the Lord. Sometimes people will be there to remind us God’s truth, sometimes they will not. Speak God’s word to your heart today. Find peace in the Living Truth.
Oh my soul
You are not alone
There’s a place where fear has to face the God you know
One more day
He will make a way
Let Him show you how you can lay this down….

We've heard it said countless times that when it comes to talking to God, there's no sort of perfect way to it. What matters most is the state of our hearts.  A broken and contrite heart- these, He will not despise. A good number of people say music gets them through pretty much everything. The truth is that music is powerful. However there have been times in my life when nothing made sense. When I say nothing I mean even the songs that would normally be very helpful were simply just nicely arranged words with a melody.
