SOMETIMES IT TAKES A MOUNTAIN

It is always God's desire that we learn to trust Him with our lives. He knows what  is best for us and He wants us to have His will for us. He is a loving Father and teacher but sadly at times we are not so much good of students. We keep insisting on having our way until we get to the point where we do not know what to do next then we go to Him for help.

I faced a mountain
That I never faced before
That's why I'm calling on the Lord
I know it's been awhile
Lord please hear my prayer

I need you like I never have before

God is a loving Father. He will not let you go down in the sinking sand but His will is that we do not have to be in such situations in order for us to get to trust Him. Sometimes He will place the mountain in front of us so that we can look at Him and remember it is not for us to work out the entire journey on our own. He on purpose took the children of Israel through the desert, which was the longer route in, order for them to learn who He really was and get the Egyptian mentality out of them.
Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me
Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe
Every time I find myself in a situation that seems too challenging for me, I always know that there is something very important I need to learn. Sometimes God will allow the devil to challenge us like Job so that He can prove Himself faithful at the end of it. The bible says that with every trial comes enough grace to endure. Through it all His love is constant and unshaken. This we should never forget. It is what will keep you going. In the end, either He will move the mountain or teach you how to climb it.
