YOUR PRESENCE

Uwepo wako nahitaji maishani
(Your presence is what I need in my life)
Uwepo wako, wa dhamana sana
(Your presence is very valuable )
Mimi sitoki hata siendi
(I will not move or go)
Bila uwepo wako, Bwana
(Without your presence, Lord)

We have been advised over and over to always begin our day with God. Oh, before I forget, Happy new month. The year is almost gone but it
does not mean that time for reforms has also past. It's never too late to correct something in our lives or to start up a positive habit.
One thing that I really admire about the leaders in the Bible like, Moses, Joshua and David is that they were careful not to move without the leadership of God. It was very obvious when God was with the Israelites because they worn battles against all odds and every time that God would lift His presence off them they would fail miserably to the point of the ark of the covenant being taken captive. The presence of God was very vital and the psalmist wrote and said that whoever dwells in the presence of God, under the shadow of the almighty will say of the Lord that He is his refuge, his God in whom he trusts. Psalms 91 shows us some of the benefits of being in God's presence.
There's is no place as peaceful, as gracious, as full of love as in the presence of God. Sometimes when we are surrounded by so many uncertainties all we need to do is to soak in the presence of God. There we are edified and renewed and reminded of His promises that never fail and His word that never returns unto Him void. More importantly, it is where our true identity is shaped. The best way we can serve is by first being filled with the real personification of the Christ, the greatest leader and servant of all time.
It's not too late to start. This year can end in a better way when we end it in the presence of the Most High. Let's tap to the higher calling and go deeper.

  1. We indeed need God's presence to be & go with us everywhere & always! As Moses requested God as mentioned in Exodus 33:15 & Moses indeed enjoyed great stuff with His fellowship with God. This song by Reuben Kigame crowns it well > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdzeQIsVOAY
