DADDY'S HOME

Godly contentment is great gain, the word of the Lord tells us so.
Many people struggle with self esteem issues. Some you can tell just by how they comment on themselves while others are very good at shaping an artificial confidence while on stage but break
down once they get back in the background. This should not be the case. Once we get to understand whose we are, we should walk in a confidence of Faith not a fake played one.
As Travis Greene introduces the song, 'Daddy's home', he talks about the children of Israel and how they were searching for a physical king, even after being warned by the prophet Samuel of the consequences that would come with their request, yet they had the King of kings. God walked with them so openly that other nations were afraid of them. Rehab from Jericho told the two spies that they had heard of how God had fought for the Israelites and the entire land of Jericho was terrified. Sadly the Israelites did not live in this reality.
You've been searching for your Identity
Someone to give you hope
And something you could believe
Search no longer He's waiting for you
The search is over, all you have to do is
Let Him in
Coz Daddy's home... Hoooo... Home
Many at times, this is the life we live. We like want someone else's words to assure us that we are loved or we are enough yet God already tells us so in His word, His peace, the gift of righteousness and constant Love. We belong to Him. Think about the awesome glory that we have been called to.
John 17:22, "I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as we are one." As verse 23 starts Christ says, "I in them and you in me."
May the Holy Spirit keep reminding us that we are not forsaken. We belong to Jesus and He is here for us. He is the king of our hearts and if we let Him rule, we have everything we really need. He is home with us and in us.
