LIMP...

For all have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God, that's what the Bible says. It however does not say so with no sign of hope. We are again told that if we confess our sins, our Father in heaven is just and will forgive us.
I'm tired, broken, innocence stolen
And I know I'm a different man
See life hits and life hurts
Think Ihave seen some of life's worst

But you've been here so you understand
See I fell and I broke something
But I couldn't tell 'cause I kept running
Away from your love and grace
So my trips and my pains, my failures
They only makeme desparate to seek your face

Yeah, the devil hoped that this injury would make me stop and take defeat
But I know Jesus walks with me
So I'll just keep on walking with my limp

This walk ain't smooth and no one should lie to you that it is a walk in the park. We were saved when we accepted Christ but transformation and renewal is an everyday process. Today we may get it right yet tomorrow we might miss a sign here and there. These are just effects of the human nature and we ought to choose to keep moving even with the our imperfection.
I have been learning about perfection and why God would ask us to be perfect and Holy just as He is yet we are limited in our bodies. I have come to realise it is not about being perfect with no scar or broken bones but perfect even with scars and broken bones. Yes we may have missed it but we can go back and fix it because God has given us the grace to learn and endure even in a corrupted world.
I'm imperfect, so I slipped up
And I had my heart ripped up
But You're the lifter of my head (of my head)
So, please come and please heal
How I think and how I feel
And I'll live by what You said
And You said
 Heavy laden come to me
The sick, the flawed, the lame, the weak
And I'll be everything you need
So I'll just keep on walking with my limp...

So hey, it is well. Grace says you are well because He who is greater dwells in you. You may be flawed but you have been graced for when you are weak then you are strong. Rest in love. It will perfect you by casting out all your fears and though you may be limping, at least you are moving...
