Have you ever woken up to a great day and you are like, "Yes!! This looks like its going to be an awesome one,"but the first person you interact with seems like he or she is on a very different?

Or you were like, "Today is the day I get all that work done or finally we will be through with this and that," but unfortunately the other person that you are totally not in control of doesn't have such enthusiasm? It really sucks or at least it can make one just change from the good mood in a twinkle of an eye. Sometimes it really draws frustrations and then anger gets a chance then the devil gets a loophole to make you dance to his beat.
For me I really hate negativity. I hate it when all someone sees is the bad side and does not even suggesting solutions. Positive criticism is totally fine but a complaining heart makes me want to flee. I have been the one on the other side and I've seen how stagnant one can remain if all you do is complain and do nothing about it. I made it a habit to run from such environments at least or wisely change the perspective with the help of the Holy Spirit.
However, it does not mean that everyone else is also willing to make the changes that you are making in order to make life better. We do our part to grow individually and the devil knows that. Like a recovering addict who keeps coming across his former gang members and has to keep saying no. It is not easy.

We all have a past. Whether you were born saved or not there is that part of you called the flesh that always calls for attention. The bible clearly says that if we work in the Spirit we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Walking in the Spirit is clearly walking in the constant knowledge of Christ going ahead of you, walking beside you and watching your back. Grace all around. That's the only way one can maintain peace in a world that advocates for violence. Never think you are already strong enough to maintain on your own. Call Jesus to help you maintain. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved.

So I walk in love and put a smile... on my face
But in case I run into someone on a different page

We all care. Most of us like to say we do not really care what anyone thinks about us but truth is that deep down we really do. It's just that some of us have slowly been sucked into approval addiction while some have gradually realized that it really shouldn't matter that much so we try not to let others' opinions sway us. Sometimes things go dark. So dark that life ceases to make sense... Sometimes things go wrong and just when we think they can't get any worse they actually do... Sometimes we get weak...or as we like to say, life happens. This song, I believe, is for those times when life happens. Because those are the times we are prone to forget the truth we very much proclaim to know. We've heard it said countless times that when it comes to talking to God, there's no sort of perfect way to it. What matters most is the state of our hearts.  A broken and contrite heart- these, He will not despise. A good number of people say music gets them through pretty much everything. The truth is that music is powerful. However there have been times in my life when nothing made sense. When I say nothing I mean even the songs that would normally be very helpful were simply just nicely arranged words with a melody.
